STOP THE FRAUD

Lower Taxes - Start with Ending Government Fraud. Our Taxes Should Help Families Not Criminals

Minnesota is going through unprecedented times.

We are now witnessing what happens when government grows so large and unaccountable that it takes our money in the form of taxes and redirects it away from its intended purposes. We have seen billions of dollars—over $9 billion—flow through government programs that failed in oversight and accountability, with funds going to criminals and misuse, while hardworking Minnesotans are left to work more, pay more, and remain grossly overtaxed.

If this money were returned, every citizen would receive about $1,600. That’s $6,400 for a family of four—money that belongs to Minnesota families.

The hard truth is that we will most likely never see a penny of it returned to working Minnesotans. That is why we must elect legislators who are willing to reverse laws that allow massive amounts of taxpayer money to be funneled through NGOs—non-governmental organizations, often called nonprofits.

Currently, roughly one out of every three tax dollars is routed through these organizations, with insufficient transparency and accountability. When public money is moved this way, it creates the conditions for abuse, fraud, and large-scale misuse of taxpayer funds. That system must be reformed.

If over nine billion dollars can be taken from us the taxpayers and not used at all for the citizens, we know it was NOT NEEDED. This should deeply concern every citizen. It reveals a larger problem: government continues to take far more money than is truly needed. The money funneling it into programs that lack transparency, responsibility, and real benefit to the people it claims to serve must stop.

Now more than ever, Minnesota needs informed, engaged citizens who are willing to show up and take responsibility for the direction of our state.

It’s time to remove self-serving politicians and elect everyday Minnesotans of integrity, leaders who work for the people, not themselves, at the Capitol.

Why did our government not fight harder for us?

Proverbs 29:2
“When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan.”

Why did our government not fight harder for us? Minnesota families work hard, pay their taxes, and trust that those entrusted with public office will guard those dollars carefully. Instead, many of these fraud schemes continued until they were exposed publicly. Leadership should never wait for headlines before taking action. We need leaders who will ask tough questions, investigate suspicious spending immediately, and put safeguards in place to protect taxpayers. Minnesotans deserve responsible stewardship of their money and leaders who will stand up, take action, and STOP the fraud before it happens—not after the damage is done.

Ecclesiastes 7:7
“Extortion turns a wise person into a fool, and a bribe corrupts the heart.”

Non - Profits and Government
Citizens across Minnesota are demanding an end to the widespread fraud that has drained hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars from programs meant to help vulnerable people. While nonprofits can do valuable work, recent scandals have shown that funneling large sums of public money through layers of nonprofit organizations often weakens accountability and oversight. Taxpayers deserve transparency and responsible stewardship of their hard-earned money. Minnesota must implement stronger verification systems, direct oversight of funds, and ensure that assistance goes directly to those in need—not through intermediaries that can be exploited by bad actors. It is time to stop the fraud, restore trust, and protect the integrity of programs meant to serve our communities.

To STOP the FRAUD - ELECT LEADERS who will restore Accountability and PROTECT TAXPAYERS

Minnesota families work hard to earn a living, provide for their families, and pay their taxes. Those dollars should be carefully stewarded and used to serve the people of our state—not lost to fraud, mismanagement, or weak oversight. It is time to restore integrity, transparency, and accountability in how public funds are handled.

1. Full Transparency and Independent Audits

Minnesotans deserve to know exactly where their tax dollars are going. Every grant, contract, and payment should be subject to independent audits and made transparent to the public. Sunlight is the first step toward accountability.

2. Elect Leaders Committed to Responsible Stewardship

We must support leaders who understand that taxpayer dollars are not government money—they belong to the people. Leaders must be willing to ask tough questions, investigate suspicious activity, and protect public resources.

3. Strong Oversight and Fraud Prevention Systems

Government programs must include strict verification procedures, real-time monitoring of spending, and routine audits of providers to ensure services are legitimate and funds are used appropriately.

4. Reduce Reliance on Layers of Intermediaries

Whenever possible, assistance should reach citizens directly rather than passing through multiple layers of organizations. Fewer intermediaries mean clearer accountability and fewer opportunities for fraud.

5. Real Consequences for Fraud and Misuse

Those who steal from taxpayers must face serious consequences. Fraud must be prosecuted aggressively, stolen funds must be recovered whenever possible, and individuals or organizations involved in fraud should be permanently barred from public programs.

Our Commitment
Minnesotan republicans believe in helping those in need, but compassion must be paired with responsibility and integrity. By strengthening oversight, demanding transparency, and electing leaders who value stewardship, we can restore trust and ensure that public funds truly serve the people they were intended to help
